In plain language

Use Islet lawfully, keep control of the services you connect, and review the Store purchase terms before paying. AI and external information can be wrong. Nothing here removes consumer rights you have under applicable law.

01. This agreement

These terms are between you and ADAPTIVE SOLUTIONS TECH LTD, company number 14922021, which operates Islet under the developer brand NextWinDev. Its business contact address is International House, 12 Constance Street, London, E16 2DQ, United Kingdom. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to ADAPTIVE SOLUTIONS TECH LTD. These terms govern your use of the Islet Windows desktop application and its accompanying website.

By using Islet after the final terms are made available, you agree to those terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must have the legal capacity to enter this agreement, or the authorization of a parent or guardian where required.

The privacy policy explains data processing. Acceptance of these terms is not a substitute for consent where privacy law or a connected service requires separate consent. Applicable Microsoft Store license and purchase terms also apply. Mandatory law and applicable Store rules prevail where these terms cannot lawfully override them.

02. Your license to use Islet

Subject to these terms and the license or entitlement associated with your purchase, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Islet on devices permitted by the applicable Microsoft Store terms. You receive a license to use the software, not ownership of its intellectual property.

Islet’s software, design, and original content remain the property of their respective rights holders. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licenses. You retain your rights in the content you create or submit; you grant only the rights needed to process it for the feature you request.

You must not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app without permission; bypass paid-feature licensing or security controls; or reverse-engineer it except to the extent applicable law expressly permits. Nothing here restricts rights that cannot legally be restricted.

03. Optional connected services and AI

Features such as Google Calendar, Windows calendars, weather, market data, and Microsoft Store purchases depend on third parties. Connecting an account authorizes the access shown in its consent flow. You are responsible for having permission to connect the account and process any content you submit.

Calendar actions may create, change, or delete events and may affect invitations or other participants depending on your provider’s settings. Islet deletes Google Calendar events only in response to your explicit request; it does not automatically delete events from your Google account. Check the details before confirming an action. Meeting links open services with their own terms. Revoking access can disable connected features; removing the connection does not delete events already saved with the provider.

AI features send the content you choose to submit to NextWinDev’s private server for temporary processing, without retaining AI request or response content on the server after processing. See the privacy policy for the distinction between server processing and local app storage. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. Review them before relying on or sharing them. Do not submit confidential or third-party information without the necessary rights and authorization. AI output is not professional legal, medical, financial, or other regulated advice.

Weather, prices, battery status, calendar reminders, and other external or device information may be delayed or unavailable. Do not rely on Islet as an emergency, safety-critical, trading, or guaranteed alarm system. Third-party providers may change their services or access requirements.

04. Purchases, subscriptions, and trials

Some features may require a paid entitlement. The Microsoft Store purchase screen identifies the features offered, price, currency, billing period, and any applicable trial or recurring-billing conditions. Those disclosed conditions, rather than assumptions about a plan name, govern your purchase.

  • Billing: Microsoft processes Store payments under its terms. NextWinDev does not collect your payment-card details through an Islet checkout.
  • Renewal: if you choose a recurring subscription, it renews according to the terms shown at purchase unless you turn off recurring billing or cancel as permitted by Microsoft.
  • Trials: any trial length, eligibility, and conversion to a paid plan must be shown in the offer. Not every product or account is entitled to a trial.
  • Management: review or manage subscriptions at account.microsoft.com/services, using the Microsoft account used for purchase. Uninstalling Islet or disconnecting Google does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds: eligibility and requests are governed by Microsoft’s policies and applicable law. Nothing in these terms creates a blanket “no refunds” rule or excludes statutory cancellation or refund rights.
  • Changes: any price or renewal changes will be handled with the disclosures, notice, and choices required by the Store and applicable law.

05. Responsible use

Do not use Islet to violate the law or another person’s rights, distribute harmful content, access accounts without authorization, disrupt services, or evade service limits and safeguards. You are responsible for your submitted content and for checking that you have the right to use it.

Protect your Windows and connected accounts. Keep backups of important information. Local clipboard history, notes, and shelf tools are conveniences, not a replacement for a secure backup system. Be mindful of sensitive information on shared screens or devices.

06. Updates, availability, and changes

We may release updates to improve reliability, compatibility, security, or functionality. Distribution and automatic-update behavior may be controlled by Windows and the Microsoft Store. Some features require current software, an internet connection, or supported third-party services.

We do not promise that every feature will remain unchanged or be available without interruption. If a material change affects a paid service, we will provide any notice and remedies required by applicable law and Store terms. This section does not permit us to disregard your existing purchase rights.

When these terms materially change, we will publish an updated version and provide notice or request agreement where required. Changes are not retroactive unless permitted by law. If you do not accept a future change, you may stop using the app and exercise any applicable cancellation or consumer rights.

07. Disclaimers and your statutory rights

To the extent permitted by law, Islet is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise that it will meet every requirement, always be available, or be free of errors. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI outputs, forecasts, market prices, reminders, or information from third parties.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused by unauthorized account access or third-party outages outside our reasonable control. This is not an exclusion of responsibility that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Your mandatory consumer rights, including rights relating to defective digital content or services, remain unaffected.

08. Ending use

You can stop using and uninstall Islet at any time. If you have a subscription, manage it separately with Microsoft. Disconnect linked accounts and remove local data as described in the privacy policy if you want to remove stored content.

We may restrict online-service access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, unlawful activity, security risk, or legal requirement. Where appropriate and legally required, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the problem. Suspension or termination does not remove accrued refund rights, mandatory consumer protections, or rights to your own content.

09. Contact and resolving concerns

Contact support@droidhack.org with questions about Islet or these terms, or write to the business contact address below. For purchase issues, include the product and a description of the problem, but do not email card details or passwords.

We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Nothing here prevents you from using the courts, dispute-resolution mechanisms, or consumer authorities available under applicable law. These terms do not impose an exclusive court or governing-law clause or remove mandatory protections available where you live.
